  • WHAT IS THE NATIONAL SCIENCE CHALLENGE?
The National Science Challenge (NSC) is the nation's premier science competition for high school students. This one-of-a-kind competition has sparked the knowledge of hundreds of thousands of students and enhanced science exploration, innovation and communication across Malaysia. Students would gain the opportunity to explore the world of science and understand science and technology concepts through interesting hands-on experiences. Students would also get to know and directly interact with the young scientists from Young Scientists Network Malaysia in different field of studies especially at the Semi-final level.
  • WHY IS THE PRELIMINARY LEVEL CONDUCTED ONLINE?
We believe that universal access to technology and information can truly make the world a better place. We also believe that the need for access to useful information transcends all borders. That’s why we created the online quiz at preliminary level: to champion young scientific talent and to support the Ministry of Education effort in leveraging ICT to scale up quality learning across Malaysia as stated in the Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013-2025.
