About NSC

The National Science Challenge (NSC) is a national science competition specifically for secondary school students aged 13 to 16 from all types of schools, including international and homeschooling. Since 1999, NSC has evolved from a national science quiz programme into one of the premier science competitions in Malaysia. This competition comprises of four main levels which consists of high-level science challenges to students and is typically commenced in April until October each year.

We've narrowed it down to the top 5 teams who will be vying for the prestigious Prime Minister's Trophy and an incredible grand prize! What makes this level even more exciting is that teams will go head-to-head in both quiz rounds and their actual prototype presentations, all centered around the compelling theme, "Ensuring the Nation’s Food Security through Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI)."
